Join the international adventure in Tserakvi and Tbilisi - co-create together with multiethinic communities of Marneuli.

Art and Education is the residency program organised by the One Caucasus NGO under the OASis - Open Art Spaces in Synergy program. If you are a film-maker, visual artist, animator, choreographer, interdisciplinary practitioner, if you merge art and education and if you are ready to work in the most multicultural region of Georgia together with local communities - this call is for you!

The residency will include two parts:

  • Tserakvi and Marneuli region - the residency will start on 10th of August in the village of Tserakvi in the borderland of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan - where you will work with other artists - co-creating art projects with local communities - including youth and adults. Together you will re-discover the unobvious potential of the Marneuli villages and co-create art projects (films, art interventions, interdisciplinary events) and present them in the final event in Tserakvi on 22-23 August. 
  • Tbilisi - on 24-25 August you will co-create an interactive exhibition - presenting the results of your work in the Marneuli region. The final event will be held on 26th of August in OASis Tbilisi. 

Dates: 10-26 August 2026 (note: while in Tserakvi - we are accommodated in Tserakvi public school)

Who we’re looking for:
We’re inviting international artists who are excited to co-create the unique artistic process and showcase it in Tserakvi and Tbilisi. 

What we offer:

  • Collaborate with international / local artists and communities
  • Focused work that will be presented in Tserakvi and Tbilisi
  • Up to €1,300 artist fee (gross)
  • Free accommodation and meals during the residency
  • Travel support up to €315
  • All production costs covered
