''Marbey'' is a well known jazz music band in Armenia. It plays songs of own composition as well as covers on pieces of Armenian composers. With leading jazz musicians of Armenia “Marbey” had concerts in US, Russia, Georgia, Belarus, Europe and UAE. Besides, the band actively takes part in various festivals, such as "Zolotoy Shlyager“ (Belarus), "Yerevan of the 70s sings“, "Jazz Fest“ (Armenia) and many other.
The frontwoman of ''Marbey'' is Marina Hakobyan. She was nominated as the best jazz singer in several Armenian jazz competitions (2012, 2014 in ''Van'', 2014 - ''Dream'' music awards) and for a''Lady Jazz'' award in the International Jazz competition "Big Sky 2016“ ( Moscow). Since 2016 Marina Hakobyan is the face of Armenian fashion brand “Petoor”.
